How IOUX collects, uses, shares and protects your personal data.

IOUX (“IOUX”, “we”, “us”) provides this Privacy Policy to explain how we collect, retain, process, share and protect your personal data when you use our sites and services, in line with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it. Service offerings may vary by region.

What we collect

Registration and account information (name, contact details and identification documents); transaction and usage information (amounts, counterparties, device and technical data, geolocation); information about other participants you add to a transaction; information from third-party sources such as data providers and credit bureaus where permitted by law; and information you provide when contacting support.

Why we retain it

We retain personal data to fulfil legal and regulatory obligations and for legitimate business purposes. If your account is closed, we may mask personal data but retain it as required by law.

How we process it

To operate the sites and provide the services (including authentication), manage and improve our services, manage risk and prevent fraud by verifying identity, comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms, and respond to your requests.

How we share it

We may share personal data within our corporate family to provide the services you request and prevent fraud; with partnered institutions to jointly offer products; and with third parties for business purposes or where permitted or required by law. We do not sell your personal data.

We use cookies and similar technologies to recognise you, customise your experience, measure effectiveness and mitigate fraud. You can manage cookies through your browser or device; disabling them may limit functionality.

Your choices

You may decline to provide personal data (some services may then be unavailable), manage device and cookie permissions, review and edit your account information, and opt out of marketing. Certain service-related notices are necessary and cannot be opted out of.

How we protect it

We maintain technical, physical and administrative safeguards — including firewalls, encryption, and access controls — designed to protect against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. We store and process personal data in India, with backup and disaster-recovery in India. You are responsible for keeping your password secure.

Aadhaar & eKYC

Aadhaar-based authentication is used only for demographic authentication, validation, e-KYC and OTP authentication to provide our services. IOUX does not store your Aadhaar number; biometric details are not stored or shared and are submitted to the Central Identities Data Repository only for authentication, in accordance with the Aadhaar Act, 2016.

Children

Our services are not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Changes

We may revise this Policy from time to time; substantial changes will be notified with prior notice on our policy-update page.
